Summer Bishil, an American actress, is best known because of her portrayal as Margo Hanson on the Syfy fantasy series The Magicians. The actress was previously recognized as the character of a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing turbulent personal struggles against the backdrop the U.S. invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. She was later named one of The Top 10 actresses in the world by Variety for 2007 was also a great recognition. The role she played was another one of her most memorable characters Taslima Jahangir in 2009's crime drama film Crossing Over for which she was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Leading Actress category. Alongside Lucky 7, she has played a role in Mooz Lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake as well as a variety of television guest roles.
